On the 11th of June came on to be tried, before a court of
liberty and a special jury of free men, at Northfarnham
parish, Richmond county, an indictment against Lord North,
on a charge exhibited against him for high treason. . . [18

to the gallows (which was immediately erected for the
purpose) in a cart, which moved slowly and solemnly on,
drums beating, colours flying, &c. . .
