Five dollars reward. Deserted last night from this city,
Michael Eversage, a drummer, 5'6" high, about 30 years of
age, has brown hair and a dark complexion; he was enlisted
in Westmoreland by Lieut. Lovell, and probably he may make
that way, as he has a wife with him. Whoever secures said
deserter, and delivers him to any officer is the service of
this state, so that he may be returned to his regiment,
shall be entitled to the above reward, paid by [signed] John
Allison, capt. Williamsburg, May 22, 1777.
