London, Jan. 9. Mr. Mossop, the player lately deceased,
came on the stage about the same time as Mr. Ross; the first
was educated at Dublin, the other at Westminster. The great
applause bestowed on each, by their particular friends, gave
birth to the following epigram:
  At Westminster they cry Ross up,
  At Dublin they cry Mossop;
  But it is not the test
  Of which is the best,
  But which is the worst in a toss-up.
