Deserted from Capt. Robert Hodgson's Independent Company now
raising for the service and defence of South-Carolina, the
following soldiers, viz. . . [15 lines]
  Thomas Craig, born in Edinburgh, 27 years of age, 5 feet 3
inches high, had black hair, and is a labourer in sloops and
boats, was formerly a drummer to the Royal Scots; he has a
bump on one of his legs, occasioned by being broke, and is
very ill-set, he was seen going over Chickahominy Ferry, on
the 27th of June.
