London, Apr 3. Last week died at his seat at Burghope in
Herefordshire, Sir Edward Goodere, Bart. aged upwards of 90,
of a very antient family in that county, and created Baronet
by Queen Anne, 1707. He married the sole heiress of Sir
Edward Dineley, by Frances, Sister to the Old Lord of
Foggingham. He serv'd in several parliaments for the
Borough of Evesham, and County of Hereford. He was a true
brave Englishmen; never took an intended affront, or ever
gave one. His estate and title devolves to his son, now Sir
John Dinely, Bart. (having chang'd his name for his mother's
estate) also father of Capt. Samuel Goodere and other
children. Sir Edward wounded Beau Fielding, who was dress'd
on the stage in Drury-lane Playhouse, on which many ladies
fainted away.
