Bristol, Oct 13. Last Wednesday being the anniversary of
His Majesty's coronation, the bells rung early in the
morning, and continued their peals all the day; the regiment
of soldiers drew up in the square at twelve, and fir'd
several vollies with their small arms; about six, the Right
Worshipful the Mayor, the Worshipful the Aldermen, sheriffs,
common-council, and the officers of the regiment assembled
at the council house; before which the company of grenadiers
drew up by beat of drum from the main guard, and at every
loyal health fir'd a round which was repeated 7 or 8 times;
the bells ringing all the while; and the evening concluded
with bonfires, and other tokens of loyalty and respect.
