Ran away from the subscriber, in Charles City County, on
Wednesday the 9th of this instant, a servant man, named
Thomas Sellers, who formerly belong'd to Mrs. Stagg: He is
a small man, very battle-ham'd, a flat foot, and has but one
eye; plays well on the fiddle, and is a great lover of
strong drink: Had on when he went away, a light colour'd
coat and waistcoat, and a pair of blue shagg breeches; he
has also with him a small trotting bay horse, with a blaze
in his face, branded thus, B H. He was seen the day after,
going over Chickahominy long bridge, in New-Kent County.
Whoever will take up the said runaway and carry him before
some justice, that he may be dealt with according to law,
and conveyed to me, shall be handsomely rewarded, besides
what the law allows. [signed] Benjamin Harrison
