London, Sep 18. A letter from Madrid says, the Spanish
court is so charm'd with Farinelli, the famous musician,
that their Catholick Majesties have desired Mr. Keene, the
British minister there, to write to London, to engage the
directors of the opera to give that musician leave to spend
the winter in Spain. We hear moreover, the King of Spain
has created him a knight, and made him Yeoman of the Mouth,
with a pension of 18, 000 crowns.
