London, . . .  July 7.  By letters from Edinburgh, we are
inform'd, that on Tuesday last week, Alexander Wilson, Esq;
late Lord Provost of that city, arrived there from London;
on which occasion there were great rejoicings.  At four in
the afternoon, the musick bells began to play, and at seven
the great bells were set a ringing, and continu'd 'til nine.
