Charlestown, (S. C.) June 30.  Last Saturday the 28th of
June, being the anniversary of the defeat of the British
squadron, under Commodore Sir Peter Parker, off Fort
Moultrie, on Sullivan's Island, the key of this capital, was
celebrated in such a manner as became the sons of freedom.
The morning was ushered in with the ringing of bells. . .
