London, May 7. Yesterday morning, . . . a fire broke out in
King Street, at the house of Mr. Younger, of Covent Garden
Theatre. . . Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy, who directed the Company
of Performers at Richmond last summer, were upon a visit to
Mr. Younger. Mr. Kennedy escaped, but not without being
much burnt in endeavouring to save his wife and other women
in the house. . . notwithstanding the many efforts to afford
assistance, Mrs. Kennedy, . . . perished. . .
