Boston, June 1. Friday last was the anniversary of his
Majesty's birth day, when he entered the 36th year of his
age, upon which occasion his Excellency's troop of guards,
the regiment of militia, with the company of grenadiers, and
train of artillery, dress'd in their uniforms, with a band
of musick; likewise the company of Cadets, commanded by the
Honourable John Hancock, Esquire, having also a band of
musick, were mustered, and performed their several exercises
in the training field, to the universal satisfaction as well
as admiration of a more numerous company of spectators, both
of town and country, than were ever known upon the like
occasion; after which, the whole marched into King-Street,
where vollies were fired by each respectively.
