London, February 8. The Queen of Denmark has not only grown
very fat since her marriage, . . . but has fallen into a
kind of somnolency, extremely inconsistent with the spirit
of gallantry. There is an elegant theatre in the Court,
where French plays are exhibited gratis twice a week, . . .
yet here her Majesty frequently fell fast asleep in the full
view of the audience, and, if jogged a little by Struensee,
who commonly stood behind her chair, she only opened her
eyes, and returned to her former situation.
