London, January 18. This being the day appointed for the
celebration of her Majesty's Birth Day, there was a most
splendid as well as most numerous court at St. James's. . .
[7 lines] The ball this evening will be opened by the Prince
of Mecklenburg, and it is thought with the Dutchess of
Grafton, her grace being now in a manner the only woman of
her rank who dances on publick occasions at St. James's.
