Pisa, November 5. On the 2d instant the Grand Duke,
Dutchess, and the Duke of Gloucester, went on board the
English Admiral's ship, lying about two leagues and a half
from this city. . . The Dukes, &c. returned to the palace
about one o'clock, and in the evening there was a masked
ball for their amusement in the house of Sir John Dick, the
British Consul, which was conducted with great taste and
propriety. . . The Duke of Gloucester did not dance, nor at
all mix with the company, but remained the whole evening in
a small apartment, where he played cards with a few English
gentlemen. . . [12 lines]
