London. . . Among those witticisms which passed at a late
masquerade, and deserve recording, the following ought not
to be overlooked.  A mask, in the character of an old witch,
as represented in the play of Macbeth, stepping up to
another mask, whom he knew to be L--d C---le, said, in a
hollow voice, "Beware of Macbeth, Macduff, Macaroni, and all
macs."
