Paris, Dec. 10.  They write from Rome that the Pope, who
continues to employ himself about every means that may tend
to the reformation of manners, has just issued an ordonnance
which proscribes, for ever, within his dominion, the
indecent outrage committed on young male subjects, in order
to preserve their voices for the choir.
