Run away from the subscriber, last September, a young Negro
fellow named Cheshire, who has a large scar on his left
cheek, plays on the fiddle, and is well known to those who
go in the river crafts. He has often imposed on people for
a freeman.
Whoever apprehends the said Negro, and delivers him to me
at Bermuda Hundred, shall have forty shillings reward. March
2, 1770 [signed] John Hylton.
