Mr. Wilkes's friends, preceded by a band of musick, with
colours flying, marched along Pall Mall, and stopped
fronting the palace, where they gave three loud huzzas, and
the musick began to play. This alarmed the guards who march
out to the gate with their bayonets fixed; but the company
marched on peaceably for Brentford, and the soldiers
returned into the barracks. . . [17 lines] After the poll
was over a number of horsemen, with colours flying, and
musick playing, attended by several thousand people. . .
