Run away from the subscriber, on Monday the 27th of June, a
Negro woman named Nanny, about 35 years of age, a brisk
genteel sensible wench, a little pitted with the smallpox,
and had on when she went away a narrow striped Virginia
cloth waistcoat and petticoat. It is supposed that she has
gone off with some of the comedians who have just left this
town, with some of whom, as I have been informed, since she
went off, she had connections, and was seen very busy
talking privately with some of them. . . [terms, 20
shillings, signed] Jane Vobe.
