London. . . Monday last died, at his house in Wapping,
Daniel Day, aged 84, a man well known for his mechanical
turn, and ingenuity in engine work, pump-making; perhaps as
great on oddity as any living. . . [7 lines] the last eight
years, as he grew feeble, he went in a coach, attended by a
fiddler [to the fair in Hennault Forest, in Essex, which he
had founded]. . .
