It is remarkable, there were not so many British officers
killed and wounded in the battle of Minden (though the
greatest loss of the allied Army was amongst the English) as
there were at the late battle near Boston, between the
King's troops and the Provincials, as will appear by the
following comparison: . . . [1 drummer killed in each
battle,  11 drummers wounded in Minden, 12 drummers wounded
near Boston.]
