At the anniversary of the St. Coecilia Society, held here
the 22d of last month, the following gentlemen were chosen
officers, viz. Honourable Rawlins Lowndes, esquire,
president; John Deas, esq; vice-president; Mr. John Owen,
treasurer; Mr. Thomas Eveleigh, steward; Thomas Heyward,
jun. esq; Peter Foyssoux, M.D. Mr. William Carson, Rev.
John Bullman, Isaac Huger, esq; Thomas Bee, esq; Robert
Philip, esq; Alexander Inglis, esq; Hugh Rutledge, esq;
Charles Matthews Cosslatt, esq; and the Rev. Robert Purcell,
managers.
