Concert. By Desire.
On Friday the 27th of November, instant, at Pike's New
Assembly-Room, will be performed, a Concert of Vocal and
Instrumental Music.
The Vocal part by a gentleman, who does it merely to oblige
on this occasion.
The whole sum that may be raised on this occasion, to be
laid out for a covered way and elegant portico next the
street; thereby to enable ladies and gentlemen always to go
to the New Suite of Rooms without being incommended by the
weather.
N.B. As the expence to complete the same amounts to a
considerable sum, it is hoped the ladies and gentlemen will
not think a guinea for two tickets an extra demand.
To begin precisely at half past six o'clock.
* + * Tickets to be had at the Assembly-Room, and at Mrs.
Steven's Coffee-House.
