WRITTEN EXTEMPORE, ON THE RETURN OF SPRING.
Stern winter with its dreary train, 
At last resigns the drooping plain, 
To Spring's reviving ray:
Old Boreas too with hostile roar, 
Reluctant leaves the rugged shore, 
And peace resumes its sway.
