Boston, March 11. Tuesday last being the anniversary of the
melancholy fifth of March, 1770, when Messrs. Gray,
Maverick, Caldwell, Carr, and Attucks, were killed by a
party of soldiers in King-Street; The bells of the several
Congregational Churches were tolled from twelve o'clock at
noon till one.

At nine o'clock the bells tolled a doleful peal, until ten,
when the exhibition was withdrawn, and the people all
retired to their respective habitations.
