New-York, October 22.  [Report of celebrations surrounding
the arrival of the Governor, the Right Hon. John Earl of
Dunmore]
In the evening the gentlemen at Hambden-Hall, had a large
bonfire erected in the Commons, where was assembled the
greatest number of people ever seen on the like occasion.
Most of the houses were illuminated, and a genteel ball was
given by the gentlemen of the town and army, at Bolton's.
