Philadelphia, October 18.  Extract of a letter from a
gentleman in Princeton, to his friend in Philadelphia.
On Sunday last the Presbyterian Church, in Arch-Street, was
hung in black, in testimony of their regard for the late
Reverend Mr. George Whitefield, when two hymns (one of which
was composed by Mr. Whitefield himself, for his funeral)
were sung by some young gentlemen,
