Last Thursday afternoon, the statue of the Right Honourable
William Pitt, Earl of Chatham, was raised, and fixed in its
place, in Broad-Street, opposite St. Michael's Church and
the State-House.-- As soon as this was done, Lord Chatham's
health was drank, 26 cannons were discharged by the
Artillery Company, thee huzzas suceeded, and St. Michael's
bells rang.
