anniversary of the repeal of the Stamp-Act]
The day was celebrated with great joy and decency.--- A
little before sun-set, the company from Hampden-Hall, joined
by a number of people in the fields, went with music
playing, and colours flying, to the new-Goal, where they
saluted Capt. McDougall, with three cheers, which were
answered in like manner by the company within.
