New-York, Monday, September 11, 1769.  This day his
Excellency Sir Henry Moore, Baronet, departed this life in
Fort-George, after 16 days illness, and in the fifty-sixth
year of his age.

From the moment he expired, all the colours in the harbour
were half hoisted-- all the bells tolled a great part of the
day--- Minute guns were fired, during the procession from
the fort to the church, which was illuminated. . . .
