By permission.  In a commodious house, now fitted up in
theatrical order, for the accommodation of ladies and
gentlemen, in Broad-street, near the corner of the Beef-
market-square, on Friday evening, the 23d instant, December,
will be presented the noted Bayly's Medley of
Entertainments, consisting of his uncommon performances, by
dexterity of hand, in a manner different from every other
pretender to, or performer of that art, without the help or
use of pockets, bags, or sleeves.
  With a tragical, comical, farcical, operatical, whimsical
humours of Seignior Punchinello, his wife, son, family, and
company of artificial comedians, consisting of thirty-five
figures, near four feet high; by whom will be performed a
variety of new entertainments, drolls, burlettas,
&c.&c.&c.&c. with scenes, decorations, music, &c.
  To be continued on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings,
during his stay, with different performances each evening. 
Boxes, 20s. Pit, 15s. Gallery, 10s.  Vivant Rex, & Regina.
  As the receiving money at the door is attended with
difficulties too tedious to particularise, and that
gentlemen and ladies may not be detained at the door, Mr.
Bayly request those who will please to honour him with their
company, will be provided with tickets, which may be had at
any time, at the Bacchus Tavern on the Bay, or at the house
of performance.  The doors to be opened at half after 4, and
the entertainment to begin at 6.
  N.B. As my stay in town will be but short, any set company
may have a private performance on the evenings of vacation.
