John Abercromby, begs leave to acquaint the public, that he
proposes opening a dancing-school, after the Christmas
holidays, to teach young ladies and gentlemen the minuet,
Minuet Dauphin, Minuet by four, Louvre, Rigadoon, English
Country Dances, Passpied, Bretagne, New Cotillon, Allemande,
and other fashionable dances.
  Those who may please to honour him with the instruction of
their children in this branch of polite education, may
depend on his utmost care and attention.  He lodges at Mrs.
Deveaux's opposite the White Meeting; where he will be happy
to receive their commands.
  [hand pointing right] He also teaches the guittar; and
ladies and gentlemen may be waited on at their own houses,
if agreeable, to be tought that instrument, or dancing.
