London, April 13. This morning, about eight o'clock, a
numerous cavalcade of freeholders, in the interest of Mr.
Wilkes, preceded by music playing, and standards flying, on
which were painted Magna Charta and the Bill of Rights, went
in procession through the city to Brentford.
. . . Their music played three times, after which three
cheers were given,
. . . Some bodies consisted of several hundreds each, all
with music playing, colours flying, and their hats decorated
with blue ribbands, inscribed with the words Magna Charta
and Bill of Rights.
