Wilmington, in North-Carolina, March 27. On Thursday evening
last Lord Adam Gordon arrived here from South-Carolina: He
was saluted on his arrival, by a discharge of 15 pieces of
cannon, and on Friday evening an elegant ball was given by
the principal gentlemen of this borough, in honour of his
Lordship, which was attended by a great number of ladies and
gentlemen, at the house of Mr. John Campbell. His Lordship
set off on Monday morning, proceeding to the northward.
