[Notice of the need for the local militia to relieve the
provincial regimental for security duty in Charlestown,
after the regiment marches out for duty on the frontier]
. . . [Governor's order]
it is therefore reasonable, and ordered accordingly, that
the guard of militia consisting of one commission officer
and twenty men, do relieve the main guard of provincials, on
the eleventh instant, at beating the retreat.
