The subscriber gives this public notice to all gentlemen and
ladies, that he teaches the harpsichord, or spinnet,
violincello, and guitar: Whoever is willing to employ him
may depend upon good attendance; and of his using his utmost
endeavours towards their speedy instruction and improvement.
He proposes to accompany his scholars in the practice of
their lessons with the German flute; which method, he
apprehends will greatly advance them in the knowledge of the
proper time of music. He also intends to teach the above
instruments in the evenings at his lodgings in Church-
Street, for the benefit of those who have not leisure by
day: and he gives this notice to those gentlemen who already
play upon any musical instrument, but are not perfectly
acquainted with the time, that he will for a moderate
consideration, instruct them so as to enable them to play
the most difficult pieces in concert.
[signed] Frederick Grunzweig.
