Run away from his master, Bate, commander of his Majesty's
ship [  ] maid; a short, squat, well-set, nimble Negro
fellow named Noah, is about 5 feet [   ]ches high and 35
years of age, well kn [own in]  Charles-town, and throughout
the pro[vince for] his playing on the fiddle, and is the
fellow who for [    ] ago used to play at the young ladies
and gentlemen['s danc]ing school.  Whoever will bring him,
dead or alive, [to the] warden of the work-house, shall have
for their reward, [a]live and not maimed in the taking, 10
L.  If dead or [maimed?] in the taking, 5 L. currency to be
paid immediately by [signed] Elias Bate.
N.B. If the said fellow will surrender himself to [   ]ster,
he shall be received without any punishment.  [text loss in
binding because of tape.]
