  Covetuousness is the contract of content, and the sister
of envy:  The covetuous man is in a state of universal war,
for his would make reprisals on all mankind. . . [20 lines]
   The absent man goes to court on a birth-night in a
mourning suit:  He dispatches his footman on Sunday morning
to invite some friends to a party at cards, but the bells
reminding him that 'tis the Sabbath day, he pursues his
servant to counterman the message. . . [2 columns of other
types]
   The basy fellow is passionately fond of secrets . . . [9
lines] In his neighbourhood he is a kind of necessary evil,
employ'd, or employing himself in every thing; at marriages
a bridesman, a christn'ings a sponser, at feasts a carver,
and at funerals a bearer:  A gazette for the living, and for
the dead a passing bell.
