On Tuesday last, being St. John's Day, all the members of
the ancient and honourable Society of Free and Accepted
Masons in this place met at Mr. Seaman's, master of
Solomon's Lodge, from whence they proceeded all properly
cloath'd, under the sound of French horns, to wait on James
Grame Esq; Provincial Grand Master, at his house in Broad
street, where they were received by all the members of the
Grand Lodge. . . [thence] to the Court-Room at Mr. Charles
Shepheard's house, making a very grand show, there to a
numerous audience of ladies and gentlemen. . .
