By his Excellency Robert Johnson, Esq: Governor, &c. 
Whereas I have thought fit to issue my warrant for
apprehending the bodies of John Connette, drummer,  John
Pemble, Matthew Hicks, and will. Thompson, all soldiers
belonging to Capt. Edward Massey's Independent Company, who
have lately deserted his Majesty's service; . . . [9 lines]
   A description of the 4 men that are deserted from Capt.
Massey's company. . . 2. John Connette, aged about 23 years,
& and about 5 foot 5 inches high, fair faced, slow spoken,
his knees inclining something to one another, & short
footed. . . [reward 15 L for each]
