One hundred dollars reward.  Run away about a month since, a
Negro man named Jack, an artful fellow, about 5 feet high,
is plausible, can sing psalms, and is a lover of brandy.  He
had on when he went off a brown cloth coat with brass metal
buttons and Russia drab under cloth.  He is now lurking
about Charleston and is harboured by a woman in
Ansonborough.  He was well known in Charlestown while the
property of the Rev. Dr. Purcel.  The above reward will be
paid to any person who will deliver him to the Warden of the
Workhouse.
