Rebecca Woodin proposes opening a boarding school for young
ladies January 19, 1778, at Mr. Wish's large and commodious
house in Mazyck Street, lately occupied by Lieutenant Bush,
where they will be instructed in the different branches of
polite education, such as needlework, musick, French,
drawing, and dancing, as proper masters will favour her with
