The anniversary of the St. Coecilia Society being appointed
by the rules to be held on the 22d day of November, it is
requested that the members will attend on that day at
Poinsett's Tavern, in order to determine on the propriety of
either reviving or abolishing the said society, and to
devise some means for discharging the debts of the society,
either by applying a part of the society's stock to that
purpose, or entering the payment of the long arrears due to
the society. Gentlemen will be pleased to consider that the
honour of the society is concerned in paying those who have
administered to their amusement, who have already been kept
too long out of their due, and will therefore, it is hoped,
make a point of giving their attendance in order to prevent
the continuance of so great a hardship.
