London, April 8. The rage for high feathers in their heads
is so great amongst the females of fashion, that on the
night of Mrs. Abington's benefit, some ladies who sat in the
front of the side boxes wore them so high that the roof of
the box was rather too low for them. Surely, if this
fashion becomes general, women may, with more property, be
called the feathered race, than the female sex.
