London, May 15. On passing the bill (yesterday) to prohibit
the importation of foreign wrought silks, &c. several
thousand weavers went to St. James's, with streamers flying,
and drums beating, to thank his Majesty. In their way home,
they halted before the Mansion house, and the musick played
God Save the King; they then gave three cheers and marched
on.
