Theatre  New-York, Sept. 20, 1783. This Evening will be
performed, the comedy of 
The Spanish Fryar.
Between the Play and Farce, will be introduced a
pantomimical interlude, with dancing, called,
Old Women Ground Young.
To which will be added, (By Particular Desire,) a farce,
called
Thomas and Sally: or, The Sailor's Return.
  On account of the short stay that the Company make here,
the nights of performance, until further notice, will be on
Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings.
  Mr. Ryan takes this method of returning his sincere thanks
to those Ladies and Gentlemen who have hitherto favoured his
attempts;  humbly hopes for a continuance of their
patronage, which will be gratefully acknowledged.
  The doors will be opened at six, and begin at half past
seven.
  Box and Pit 8s.  Gallery 4s.
   Tickets to be had at Mr. Rivington's, Mr. Loosely's,
Water-street, and at Mrs. Petit's at the Theatre, where
places for the boxes are to be taken.
  No person can be (on any account) admitted behind the
scenes.
