(By Permission.) Theatre, New-York, August 23, 1783.
This Evening will be presented a tragedy, (written by Mr.
Thomson, and now adapted to the stage by Mr. Hull) called, 
Edward and Eleanora.
Edward, Prince of England,   Mr. Ryan, Earl of Gloster,  
Mr. Davids, Theald, Archdeacon of Liege,  Mr. Coffy
Assassin, Mr. Atherton, Officer, Mr. Walker Selim, Sultan of
Jaffa, Mr. Wall. Eleanora, Princess of England.  Mrs. Ryan,
Daraxa,  Mrs. Fitzgerald.
To which will be added, a new pantomime entertainment,
called,
Trick upon Trick, or, Harlequin Skeleton.
With new Machinery, &c.
Harlequin,  Mr. Atherton, Maccaroni, Mr. Davids Swiss
Servant, Mr. Coffy, Doctor, Mr. Jones,  Porter, Mr. Walker
Pantaloon, Mr. Wall, Clown, Mr. Rousesell Waiters, Market
Women, &c. &c. Cook Maid,  Mrs. Parsons. Columbine, Mrs.
Garrison.
The favourite Air of the "Lark's shrill Notes," will be sung
by a lady, being by particular desire.
  ** Ladies and Gentlemen are requested to observe, that no
money will be received at the doors.
  ++  Servants sent to keep boxes, are desired to attend at
five o'clock.
  The doors will be open at six, and begin at half past
seven.
  Boxes and Pit 8s.  Gallery 4s.
  Tickets to be had at Mr. Rivington's, Mr. Loosely's,
Water-street, and at Mrs. Petit's, at the Theatre, where
places for the boxes are to be taken.
  No person can be (on any account) admitted behind the
scenes.
