Next Sunday being the twenty fourth instant, a Charity
Sermon is to be preached at St. Paul's Church, for the
benefit of the Charity School, belonging to the Parish of
Trinity Church in this city.  Should the weather prove bad,
the sermon will be deferred till the ensuing Sunday.
  N.B.  The school consists of 86 scholars, viz. 56 boys,
and 30 girls.  The children are instructed in the principles
of the Christian Religion, and in Psalmody;  they constantly
attend divine service at church, on week days as well as
Sundays;  and the greatest attention is paid to their
morals.
  The boys are taught reading, writing, arithmetic, and
merchants accompts;  the girls are taught reading, writing,
arithmetic, and needle work. They are all annually clothed,
supplied with fuel, and furnished with books, paper, &c.   .
