Theatre. (By particular desire) For the benefit of a
distressed widow, with a large family. This evening the 23d
instant, will be presented the comedy of
The Miser,
To which will be added the farce of
The Mock-Doctor, Or the Dumb Lady cured. Dorcas with the
songs in character.
The characters by gentlemen of the Army.
No money taken at the door, nor any admittance behind the
scenes.
Tickets to be purchased at the time of registering places
for the boxes, for which purpose the clerk will attend at
Mrs. Petit's, next door to the Theatre, from eleven o'clock
till two every day after the play is advertised.
Tickets for the pit and gallery to be had of Messrs.
Rivington and Gaine, Printers.
The doors will be opened at half an hour after five, and
to begin precisely at seven o'clock.
No children in laps will be admitted.
Gentlemen taking places for the boxes are desired to send
their servants at four o'clock, that they may be fixed
before the doors are opened.

Commanding Officers of Corps are requested to find
certified lists of such military widows and orphans, as they
may deem proper objects of this charity, to the Treasurer
Doctor Beaumont, No. 80 King-Street, as a sum of money will
be soon issued for their relief.
